Weddings

Wedding hair is one of my biggest passions and I love helping my clients find the right style to complete their bridal look. Working closely with you, I’ll create a hairstyle that perfectly complements your wedding dress.

Throughout the morning of your wedding, I’ll do everything I can to create a calm, relaxed environment, ensuring you and your bridesmaids enjoy the bridal preparations from start to finish!

Booking

Like many wedding suppliers, I can get booked-up in advance, so it’s a good idea to contact me as soon as possible. Even if you’re not sure what you want to do with your hair, it’s best to get in touch to check my availability.

I want you to feel confident about your decision to book my services, so I offer a free phone or zoom consultation to discuss the finer details and answer any questions before you make your decision on who to book.

Once we’ve spoken, and you wish to confirm the booking, I’ll send you the necessary paperwork for you to fill in online.  A booking fee of £100 will be required to secure my services for your date. This will be deducted from your final balance.

Styling Trial

The next step is the fun part! Your styling trial is an opportunity for me to help you find a look you love. It isn’t intended to be a test of my services.

Many brides prefer to do this sooner rather than later, so there is enough time for their hair to grow if necessary. I recommend booking your trial once you have chosen your dress. If you have already selected your hair accessories, it’s a good idea to bring them with you.

You will need to allow 2-3 hours for your styling trial, but it doesn’t always take that long. Ahead of your appointment, you should collect pictures illustrating styles you love and those you don’t. If you like the front of one style, but aren’t keen on the sides or back, don’t worry, most styles can be adapted to suit the individual.

Before I even start on your hair, we’ll spend a fair amount of time discussing all the options. To create the perfect style for you, I ensure the entire process is collaborative, encouraging you to be vocal about what you do and don’t like while I’m working on your hair.

When your hair is finished and you are completely happy, I’ll take photographs for reference. We can then discuss hairstyles for the rest of the bridal party and work out a rough timetable.

It’s not always necessary for your bridesmaids or mum to have a trial. As long as I know what style they require and you have a picture of their hair as it usually is, that’s fine. It’s useful if you can provide a photo of the style they would like, as it helps me when working out a schedule.

On The Day

I will ensure the morning of your wedding is as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.

But you are going to have get up earlier than you thought and it’s going to take much longer than you imagined.

Timings will mainly depend on how many bridesmaids / mums etc are having hair styled and what styles are required.

I can arrange an assistant hairstylist for larger parties or to avoid  extra early start times

If you are having a make-up artist, I will coordinate our timings to work seamlessly together.

My kit contains a range of high-end professional products so you can be confident in the results I achieve.

Makeup

Bridal makeup is not a service I provide myself, but I frequently work with talented Artists who I am happy to recommend. There are some who I’ve not worked with yet, but I am a fan of their work and they have a great reputation.

You can be confident in their skills, and for me, it’s great working alongside someone I’ve worked with before.

We will coordinate our timings to work seamlessly. We will be your very own Dream Team!

Cost of makeup is separate to hair and should be arranged directly with your chosen Makeup Artist.

‘Sharon went over and above on the morning of our wedding day. She was professional and ready with plenty of advice to help us keep calm and organised. Sharon listened to what we wanted and the overall result exceeded our expectations. My wedding was the fourth wedding in our family that we have used Sharon for and we would all recommend her to anyone needing a wedding stylist. There is no one better. She is an expert in her field and we feel like she is one of the family now.’
