Wedding hair is one of my biggest passions and I love helping my clients find the right style to complete their bridal look. Working closely with you, I’ll create a hairstyle that perfectly complements your wedding dress.
Throughout the morning of your wedding, I’ll do everything I can to create a calm, relaxed environment, ensuring you and your bridesmaids enjoy the bridal preparations from start to finish!
Like many wedding suppliers, I can get booked-up in advance, so it’s a good idea to contact me as soon as possible. Even if you’re not sure what you want to do with your hair, it’s best to get in touch and make sure I’m available on your wedding date.
I want you to feel confident about your decision to book, so a telephone consultation is essential. Once we’ve spoken, a booking fee of £80 will be required to secure your date. This will be deducted from your final balance.
The next step is the fun part! Your style trial is an opportunity for me to help you find a look you love. It isn’t intended to be a test of my services.
Many brides prefer to do this sooner rather than later, so there is enough time for their hair to grow if necessary. I recommend booking your trial once you have chosen your dress. If you have already selected your hair accessories, it’s a good idea to bring them with you.
You will need to allow 2-3 hours for your style trial, but it doesn’t always take that long. Ahead of your appointment, you should collect pictures illustrating styles you love and those you don’t. If you like the front of one style, but aren’t keen on the sides or back, don’t worry, most styles can be adapted to suit the individual.
Before I even start on your hair, we’ll spend a fair amount of time discussing all the options. To create the perfect style for you, I ensure the entire process is collaborative, encouraging you to be vocal about what you do and don’t like while I’m working on your hair.
When your hair is finished and you are completely happy, I’ll take photographs for reference. We can then discuss hairstyles for the rest of the bridal party and work out a rough timetable.
It’s not always necessary for your bridesmaids or mum to have a trial. As long as I know what style they require and you have a picture of their hair as it usually is, that’s fine. It’s useful if you can provide a photo of the style they would like, as it helps me when working out a schedule.
On The Day
On the day itself, I will arrive at the agreed time, ready to create your hair style and ensure the morning of your wedding is as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.
My kit contains a range of high-end professional products from brands such as Kenra, Amika, Bumble & Bumble, Paul Mitchell, Unite, L’Oreal and Bedhead by TiGi, so you can be confident in the results I achieve.

It’s a common misconception that booking someone who does both hair and makeup will save you money. While this may be the case for small parties of 2-3 people, if there are more than 3 of you needing both hair and makeup, the artist will usually bring an assistant. As you won’t meet them until the morning of your wedding, the experience can feel impersonal. You’re also likely to be charged an additional fee, making the overall cost equal to that of hiring separate Hair and Makeup Artists.
Bridal makeup is not a service I provide myself, but I frequently work with talented Artists who I am happy to recommend. You can be confident in their skills, and for me, it’s great working alongside someone I’ve worked with before.
Cost of makeup is separate to hair and should be arranged directly with your chosen Makeup Artist.
‘Sharon went over and above on the morning of our wedding day. She was professional and ready with plenty of advice to help us keep calm and organised. Sharon listened to what we wanted and the overall result exceeded our expectations. My wedding was the fourth wedding in our family that we have used Sharon for and we would all recommend her to anyone needing a wedding stylist. There is no one better. She is an expert in her field and we feel like she is one of the family now.’
